- Tickets: ¥8,000. Book online well ahead (it's popular and sometimes shows don't run - confirm). Food is a bento box included or can be upgraded.
- Departure prep: After the show, pack and prepare for next-day airport transit. Haneda last trains: Keikyu Line from Shinjuku (via transfer) around midnight.
Before You Go
7-day Suica pre-load. Load ¥6,000-8,000 on your Suica at the airport. Seven days of Tokyo metro travel typically costs ¥3,000-5,000 depending on routes. Convenient - no ticket buying ever.
Go-kart IDP. International Driving Permit - get it from your national automobile club before departure. 15 min to issue. Without it, no operator will let you drive.
Late-night convenience store culture. Japan's convenience stores are a social institution. 2 AM onigiri, hot drinks, fresh sandwiches - all available. Hang out, fuel up, overhear conversations. They're worth experiencing as a destination.
Instant noodle culture. The Cup Noodles Museum in Yokohama explains everything about why instant ramen is Japan's most influential food export. The make-your-own-cup experience is unexpectedly moving.
Robot Restaurant booking. Check official channels before going - the restaurant has had temporary closures. Confirm your reservation 24 hrs ahead. If unavailable, Samurai Museum + sake bar in Shinjuku is an excellent alternative farewell night.
